🔔 What’s New from IRCC?
✅ PGWP Eligibility (Update as of July 4, 2025)

The 178 CIP codes that were initially removed on June 25, 2025, have now been reinstated and will remain eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) until the next update in early 2026.

The 119 new CIP codes introduced on June 25, 2025, are also still valid and PGWP-eligible.

And if you submitted your study permit application between June 25 and July 4, 2025 — you’re covered.

💰 New Proof of Funds Requirement (Effective September 1, 2025)
Canada now requires international students (outside Quebec) to show CAD 22,895 in available funds — up from the previous CAD 20,635. Acceptable forms of POF include:
